The Vampire blood substitute is a potion that most brew when either they or their friends are either full or part vampires and are "vegetarian" (meaning they feed from animals as opposed to other beings).
Description[]
This potion, when brewed correctly, has the appearance, and (supposedly) taste of blood.
Effects[]
This potion, like it's name suggests, acts as a blood substitute for "vegetarian" vampires.
Ingredients and tools[]
- The juice of one (1) tomato.
- The juice of eight (8) cherries.
- Four (4) ounces of pomegranate juice.
- The juice of two (2) blood oranges.
- The juice of three (3) beets.
- One (1) clove of garlic.
- One (1) blood sausage.
- Seven (7) drops of vampire venom.
- One (1) iron cauldron.
- One (1) iron mortar and pestle.
Recipe[]
- In an iron cauldron, pour in the tomato juice and bring to a boil.
- Pour in the cherry juice and pomegranate juice, and stir seven (7) times clockwise.
- Crush the garlic into a paste using the mortar and pestle, mix the paste with the blood orange and beet juices, then add the resulting mixture to the cauldron.
- Chop up the blood sausage, add it to the cauldron, then stir five (5) times counterclockwise.
- Pour in the vampire venom, simmer for six (6) minutes, then intone the incantation "Huius autem rubro liquid sicut sanguis".
