Sasquatches are a lineage of beast-like beings that live worldwide.
Appearance[]
Sasquatches basically look like humanoid gorillas, standing at around 7-8 feet tall, with shaggy, rust-colored fur, slightly conical shaped heads, with sloping foreheads, human-like, five-fingered hands, rather large feet, large nostrils, fangs, and large, intelligent eyes. They also have a distinctive call, which they use akin to a wolf’s howl, as a form of identification, to communicate location to their group, and to tell rival groups to stay away from their territory. This call sounds somewhere between a wolf howl and a human-like scream.
Behavior[]
Sasquatches are a peaceful group, tending to keep to themselves. They tend to live in family groups, with an alpha male, an alpha female, their younger siblings, also known as their betas and gammas, and their children. They possess proportionate intelligence to humans, but tend to be a shy folk. However, one can easily coax one to be one's friend by giving them a peace offering, typically in the form of their favorite food. They are very protective of those whom they recognize as friends and family; if one makes one a friend, you will find you now have a friend to the end. Sasquatches are omnivores, but prefer fruit to meat. They will eat meat if fruit is scarce, but will never eat humans.
