Gargoyles are beings that originate from France, but are now spread worldwide.

Appearance[]

Gargoyles are wildly unique individuals. Though, aesthetically, they look very different, biologically, they all are essentially the same. The skin of a gargoyle is colored like various types of stone, but it feels like something in between dragon scales, and frog skin. They have feet that are half-digitigrade, similar to dragonborns, and they have wings and tails like dragons too. Their faces are basically combinations of many different animals, such as dragons and wolves, and humans. They also have dragon-like horns on their heads (some long, some short) and claws. Some have hair, some merely have crests. Their ears are usually pointed, or fin-like.

Behavior[]

Despite their rather fearsome appearance, gargoyles are kind, friendly beings. They are well-known for being protectors against evil, so they tend to be protective of their friends and mates. Most gargoyles flock to various buildings to perch, and will protect those buildings and/or people, or die trying. These beings are, as if you couldn't tell, extremely loyal, and the word betrayal is not in their vocabulary. This can be good or bad, depending on what side they're on. Gargoyles mate for life, and usually only lay one egg at a time, though multiple eggs are not unheard of.
